Midsumma Carnival and Pride March
January 19, 2020 - Midsumma Carnival
A massive fun day in the gorgeous Alexandra gardens. Think a pinch of lip-syncing, drag dazzling, stellar acts, fine food, dog show and a pop-up bar. Relax in chalet zones, meet friends and family in the park under a tree with a bottle of wine and nibbles or hang out with the sporties in the sports precinct and follow it all up with a Tea Dance into the glorious Melbourne summer evening.
February 2, 2020 - Pride March
Victoria's annual queer march brings the community together in a celebration of Melbourne's diversity. Pride March highlights the diverse groups, personalities and fabulous organisations that make us proud. Gather in the Catani Gardens at the end of the March for post-pride festivities along the beautiful St Kilda foreshore.
March 5 - 9, 2020
After the sport, the culture, the wild nights in Sydney head back to country Victoria to recover and chillout before heading home. Daylesford is one of Victoria's most beautiful country towns. Relax in a town gone gay with Chillout carnival day, dance parties and leisure activities like the local day spa, wineries or restaurants.
Port Douglas, Queensland
Hot and Steamy
February 14 - 17, 2020
Port Douglas Hot & Steamy Festival in Queensland, Australia!
It’s not called QUEENS-land for nothing! February in Tropical North Queensland is hot, humid and steamy, hence the title of the festival. Located in picturesque Port Douglas, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest, this is a delightful way to see Australia on your way to the competition.
